American Anglican Council hires new Director of Church Revitalization and Coaching

The American Anglican Council (AAC) is pleased to announce the Rev. Canon Mark Eldredge as its Director of Church Revitalization and Coaching. Canon Mark will oversee the AAC’s ministry to Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) congregations, helping them grow in evangelism, discipleship and missional impact. He will also supervise the training and deployment of coaches to equip and develop clergy and lay leaders within the ACNA.

For the last 14 years Canon Mark has served as Rector of Christ Church Jacksonville, an Anglican congregation in Jacksonville, FL. Eldredge successfully lead the congregation in creative and effective community outreach, especially having an impact on the lives of the unchurched in their community.

“I have supported the AAC for many years because of their commitment to and good track record defending and building up Great Commission Anglican Churches,” says Canon Mark. “I am very excited to serve in the role of Director of Church Revitalization and Coaching for the AAC. I hope to help many local churches grow in their ability to offer hope to the world around them.”

AAC President and CEO the Rev. Canon Phil Ashey noted, “Of all the priests I have come to know and respect across North America, Mark stands out for his daily, personal, relational evangelism with those who do not yet know Jesus Christ. Mark will bring a passion to reach unchurched people in our culture, and will materially contribute to the AAC’s mission to equip leaders and congregations to reach North America with the transforming love of Jesus Christ!”
