Article XI of the 39 Articles of Religion tells us that faith is the instrumental means by which sinners receive justification. In his book on the 39 Articles, Bishop John Rogers says there are four aspects or dimensions of saving faith: 1 Understanding the Gospel, 2 Recognizing Gospel Truth, 3 Trusting in God, 4 Repenting.
