lay leadership RESOURCES

WHERE CAN LAY LEADERS FIND RESOURCES FOR MUTUAL ENCOURAGEMENT, EDUCATION & PRAYER?
Our lay leadership resources equip the saints for the work of ministry in their congregations and communities as they engage the culture around them. Workshops and conferences are held regionally across the Anglican Church in North America to encourage lay people to engage our culture through the power of the Holy Spirit. In addition, videos for vestries and chancellors equip those in these leadership roles to effectively lead in their congregations and dioceses. Our evangelism and renewal videos equip all laity to transform their communities in mission for the Kingdom of Christ. Search our resources below to find the support you need to fulfill God’s call on your life.
Resources for lay leaders
Rehydrate is a provincial renewal conference designed to renew and restore the people of God through prayer, worship, and deep engagement with Scripture. In a season of fatigue, fragmentation, and spiritual dryness, Rehydrate calls the Anglican Church to drink deeply from the living water Christ alone provides. Rooted in biblical truth and centered on the work of the Holy Spirit, Rehydrate creates space for honest reflection, intercession, and renewal—both personal and corporate. The conference addresses the realities facing the Church today, not by chasing cultural noise, but by returning to the well of God’s presence and promises. Attending a Rehydrate Conference will equip you and your congregation to be refreshed, restored, and sent—pouring out what God has poured in, for the sake of the Church and the world.

The Anglican Legal Society (ALS) exists to support and connect lay leaders and legal professionals who serve the Church through the study and application of canon law, ecclesiastical governance, and constitutional order. In a complex legal and cultural environment, ALS provides a space for faithful reflection, shared expertise, and principled engagement in service of Christ and His Church.
ALS brings together attorneys, judges, legal scholars, and lay leaders who contribute their professional gifts to the life of the Church, along with those who have a growing interest in canon law and church governance. Through education, discussion, and collegial support, the Society equips members to serve wisely and effectively in diocesan, parish, and provincial contexts.
Grounded in Scripture and the Anglican tradition, the Anglican Legal Society affirms that sound governance and just processes are essential to the Church’s mission and witness. By fostering careful engagement with canon law, polity, and discipline, ALS helps ensure that accountability, faithfulness, and order are exercised in a manner that reflects the Gospel.
