ABILENE, TX – The Revive program, a ministry of the AAC’s Anglican Revitalization Ministries (ARM), was offered at Holy Cross Anglican Church on February 25-27, 2022 in Abilene, Texas. Canon Mark Eldredge, Director of ARM, worked with their rector, Fr. Bryan Stewart, and the congregation on strengthening all the VITAL aspects of a healthy church, but especially on clarifying the church’s specific vision that God has for them in Abilene. The church leadership really rallied around a key vision question that all churches must ask and answer today which is, “How does God want to express Himself through this church in this community at this time?” Taking immediate action, the whole church committed to fasting and praying during Lent to seek God’s answer to that question for them.
