How Unavailable are Christian Religious Christmas Stamps at Local Post Offices?

Many faithful Anglicans have noticed that Christian religious Christmas stamps are unavailable at many local post offices, leading them to ask whether this situation is an example of what is perceived to be part of a pattern of deliberate attacks by the federal government on Christians. Local post offices have Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Eid religious stamps. This may not be the case everywhere, but we wanted to see whether others may have experienced the same.

Efforts to learn from either the U.S. Postal Service or members of Congress the reason for, and extent of, such unavailability have proved futile, as have efforts to contact the U.S. Postal Service directly to request that such stamps be made available in a timely manner.

It appears that Christian religious Christmas stamps printed in prior years can be purchased at the USPS website or from selected third party dealers (such as Amazon.com). However, those sources are unavailable to persons lacking computers and/or credit cards or other non-line payment resources.

At this point faithful Anglicans could ask their local post offices to secure such stamps from local postmaster generals, the latter of whom have authority to ensure that local post offices within their areas of responsibility have a supply of Christian religious Christmas stamps. You can find contact information for your local postmaster general at the USPS website: https://tools.usps.com/find-location.htm.

The American Anglican Council would also like to encourage any readers who find themselves with local postal contacts that are unresponsive to requests made to contact their local Congressman regarding this issue. Any questions or comments regarding responses that they have received from their local post offices can be submitted to the AAC by writing info@americananglican.org.
